We are proud to announce that our company, Cimmerian Custom Knives, was among the winners of the first micro-grant competition organized by the Dnipro City Council.
This initiative is part of the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Dnipro for 2023–2027, aimed at supporting businesses even during challenging times of war.
For us, this competition was a great opportunity to gain additional resources to improve our products. The community budget allocated a grant fund of 500,000 UAH to support entrepreneurs, with the priority area being the manufacturing industry.
Out of 11 applicants, we were among the 5 winners who received funding to implement their projects.
With the onset of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we reoriented our operations to focus on producing knives for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, special units, and volunteers. We are proud that since the beginning of the war, our knives have become a reliable support for Ukraine’s defenders.
Today, more than a thousand of our products are performing essential tasks on the frontline.
Our knives are more than just tools. They have become indispensable companions in the most challenging conditions, combining reliability, durability, and practicality.
The grant allowed us to implement new ideas in production, improve the design of our knives, and expand our product range. Thanks to this, we can better meet the needs of the military and our other customers who value quality, convenience, and functionality.
A portion of the grant funds was directed toward creating a website, which enabled us to share our story and products while expanding into the online space.
We are grateful to the Dnipro City Council for their support and trust. For us, this is not just financial assistance but also inspiration to continue our mission, contributing to Ukraine’s victory on all fronts.
